Their teachings were to be imparted to the people of Europe, the Western land, Ereb,4 by the bull race, the sons of the bull Taurus, the revolving pole, Tur. It was this ploughing-bull of Kadmus the arranger, the god of the East (kedem), which first civilised the land of the West, Ereb, and the evening sun.
