I have named the writings My Son: To Whom It May Concern, and I suppose this to be a short résumé of my life, but much more it is the Americana of some 80 years in which I have lived. I am 87 years of age, and the writings span time from the 1930s to the present. Those who have read my writings tell me I write somewhat like I verbalize the stories. I have also included some of my stories and a few reprints from a newspaper column I had during the 1960s. They were carried only by my hometown newspaper, The Malakoff News.
