The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1967, volume 2, contains messages and fellowship given by Brother Witness Lee from May 11, 1967, through January 23, 1968. As mentioned in the preface to volume 1, Brother Lee visited SanF rancisco, Seattle, Vancouver, and Sacramento in May before returning to Los Angeles at the end of the month. He then visited San Francisco in June and returned to Los Angeles at the beginning of July, where he remained until the end of October. In November and early December he spent time in San Francisco and Los Angeles and also visited Modesto, California; Corvallis, Oregon; Vancouver, Canada; and Sacramento, California. There is no record of his speaking in the latter four cities. He remained in Los Angeles from mid-December through the end of the year. The contents of this volume are divided into thirteen sections, as follows: 1. Five messages given in Seattle, Washington, and Vancouver, Canada, on May 11 through 17. Four of the messages were spoken in Chinese and subsequently translated into English. Broken Vessels is a six week study reminding us that chasing idols always leads to brokenness, and our lives were meant to tell the story of the hope God offers His children when they turn toward him to meet every need and deep longing. Instead of covering up the hard chapters of our lives, we can share the hope we found in the dark by reframing the way we view brokenness born in self-sufficiency. By allowing God to adjust the way we look at past losses and challenges, we can start living a better story today. Readers will have a clearer understanding of how they can let the cracks in their vessels tell the whole story of losses that were healed by the Living Water.Broken Vessels can be a private, personal journey or completed with a friend or small group. It was written as a six-week study; each week has a chapter to read, five days of reflection, and journal opportunities along the way.
