From Fear to Faith by Janelle Templeton Pdf

Through the life of Gideon and through Jesuss training of the disciples, this study helps us understand Gods process for strengthening faith. While Jesus states that mustard seed faith can accomplish the miraculous, we learn how God intends for our faith to grow beyond that small seed, granting more than we can ask or imagine. The author unfolds the biblical pattern for discovering deep truths about the presence and power of God in our lives. It is intended to inform and guide those who have a hunger for spiritual intimacy with God. It is also a study to equip us for ministry and service. Gods gentle grace to those gripped with fear encourages the reader to rise above their circumstances and receive the provision of understanding He reveals. Through the introspective study questions, we are encouraged to apply rich spiritual truths to our lives. By learning Gods ways from His Word, we will understand how to remain faith-focused even when fearful circumstances do not change. This understanding helps us experience His peace even in the midst of danger, grief, and great uncertainty. God often uses a surrendered servant to deliver a deliverer who then restores others from fear to faith. Which one of these are you? Which one is God calling you to be? Join us as we cultivate our hearts to find these answers and more of God through the process!

From Fear to Faith by Christopher Rory Page Pdf

CHRISTOPHER RORY PAGE Two bodies, two souls and an inspiring four way conversation between contrasting mortals as they journey through the African bush and discover the way from Fear to faith. The author awakens one morning riddled with fear from a deafening noise outside his bungalow window. This is the beginning of an exploration into the self as he meets a primitive man who proves that there is more to someone than meets the eye. A non-verbal form of communication develops between as the two men dissect the concept of fear based on age-old theories and beliefs. The reader is introduced to the Ukuesaba Isitebhisa which translated from Zulu means Fear Ladder. This shows the progression of fear from the most superficial to the most concrete. The common denominator to minimise the fear on all levels is to instil faith in various forms. From Fear to faith is an inspiring story and teaches as much as it entertains. Light hearted moments dispersed with simple truths make it must read for anyone who aims to minimise the fears in their lives which prevent them from being who they were born to be.

Driven From Fear to Faith by Pamela D. Lester Pdf

This is an autobiography about the life of Pamela Lester and her forty-five-year journey from fear to faith. She grew up terrified of cars because of the terror she experienced while riding with an alcoholic father (driven fear). She married and also became the very thing that she was afraid of all of her life, an alcoholic. After struggling with alcoholism for thirty-seven years and drinking from the wrong cup, she gave her life to Jesus Christ, began to drink from the cup of life and she is now being used for God's glory (her faith). This book is her personal testimony of how fear can alter the course of your life and divert your dreams. Pamela tells of how she inverted inside herself and suffered with bouts of anxiety, depression and mental illness. "My prayer for this book is that it brings awareness and hope to those living under a spirit of fear. I pray you gain the courage to acknowledge fear, confront fear, subdue fear and ultimately overcome fear. I speak to your spirit and pray you walk into your calling and realize that F.E.A.R. is only a false""expectation""appearing""real. I encourage you to trust God, step out on faith, and keep moving forward. Remember that your blessings are on the other side of your fears." Pamela Lester

Waiting for Eli by Chad Judice Pdf

"What would you do if you knew your unborn child would be born with a serious birth defect? That's the question that was facing Chad and Ashley Judice of Lafayette, Louisiana, when their unborn son was diagnosed with spina bifida in a 16-weeks ultrasound. If brought to term, the child could be paralyzed from the waist on down. He would probably have little or no control of his bowels or bladder. And he could have any number of learning disabilities associated with a related birth defect called hydrocephalus, commonly referred to as "water on the brain". When the doctor gave the Judices the diagnosis, she expressed her sincere sympathy, then proceeded to ask Ashley if she wanted to terminate the pregnancy. The medical literature on this birth defect indicates 80 percent of parents who are given this diagnosis do close abortion. Ashley and Chad did not want to be in that number. Instead, they would pray for a miracle" --Cover, p. 2.

Faith over Fear by Charity A. Lane Pdf

Faith is capable of completely overcoming fear, and the apostle Peter learned this simple truth while struggling through the darkness of overwhelming fear in the early days of Christianity. When he had grown in faith and had become the rock of the early church, Peter shared the lessons he had learned in scripture, just as Jesus had instructed him to do. In Faith over Fear, author Charity A. Lane shares her own spiritual journey from the darkest moments of her life, where she was able to learn the same simple truth when she turned to scripture in desperation and stumbled upon the faith-filled words of the apostle Peter in 1 Peter 5:810. These words inspired a battle against fear, which taught Charity the truth about the weakness of fear and the strength of faith. Let Peters words and Charitys own journey become the inspired foundation of your renewed strength in the face of fear. Faith over Fear can offer you a simple, easy-to-follow path toward growing a strong faith that is completely capable of overcoming every fear in this life.

The Original Ending of Mark by Nicholas P. Lunn Pdf

Although traditionally accepted by the church down through the centuries, the longer ending of Mark's Gospel (16:9-20) has been relegated by modern scholarship to the status of a later appendage. The arguments for such a view are chiefly based upon the witness of the two earliest complete manuscripts of Mark, and upon matters of language and style. This work shows that these primary grounds of argumentation are inadequate. It is demonstrated that the church fathers knew the Markan ending from the very earliest days, well over two centuries before the earliest extant manuscripts. The quantity of unique terms in the ending is also seen to fall within the parameters exhibited by undisputed Markan passages. Strong indications of Markan authorship are found in the presence of specific linguistic constructions, a range of literary devices, and the continuation of various themes prominent within the body of the Gospel. Furthermore, the writings of Luke show that the Gospel of Mark known to this author contained the ending. Rather than being a later addition, the evidence is interpreted in terms of a textual omission occurring at a later stage in transmission, probably in Egypt during the second century.
