Dictionary Poetics examines one of those modes: book-length poems, from Louis Zukofsky to Harryette Mullen, all structured by particular editions of specific dictionaries. Brilliance can come from education or in combination with life experience. With my grandmother, it came from neither. Her brilliance came from gumption.
