The recent success of Freedomland and Clockers has established Richard Price as one of America's most accomplished novelists. Critics have praised both his uncanny ear for the cadences and pitch of dialogue and his insight into the deeper recesses of the American soul. "3 Screenplays Ready For A Producer" is a unique storytelling device that allows the reader to read a typical screenplay and still be entertained by a compelling story. Or, three stories in this case. The first entry, "Finkelstein," is a laugh-a-minute "pre-quel" to the ever popular Frankenstein story. It tells of the rivalry between Dr. Victor Frankenstein and his first cousin, Dr. Herbert Finkelstein. It has a raft of lively characters that maintain a non-stop pace throughout. "Your Face Or Mine" is a new version of the familiar "ringer" theme. A man's humdrum life is turned topsy-turvy when he discovers a millionaire who looks exactly like he does. Taking the millionaire's place is not as difficult as is solving the many unexpected twists and turns that he faces in his new life. "Some Assembly Required" is a farcical comedy that deals with the problems facing a group of the nation's armament makers when government budget cuts force them to conduct their war games with model planes and guns. A "Dr. Strangelove" aura pervades the story which is filled with a raft of off-the-wall characters. This book is delightfully good reading whether you're a film producer looking for a new project or just someone looking for some good reading.

Since its release on September 1, 2006, Lage Raho Munna Bhai has been watched by millions, broken box-office records, won unprecedented praise from the masses and critics alike, and most importantly, forced a nation of one billion people and the world’s largest democracy to revisit their much misunderstood icon, Mahatma Gandhi.Following the release of the film, there has been a four hundred percent increase in the sale of literature about Gandhi. Schools and universities have introduced courses on Gandhigiri - a phrase from the film that has become a part of India’s collective consciousness. The Washington Post called the film, “A phenomenon that made Gandhi a pop icon.” Amazingly, the movie that has inspired such an astonishing response is an unassuming comedy. A gangster has hallucinations that he can see Gandhi! With this simple premise, the movie explores the relevance of Gandhian ideals in the contemporary world beleaguered by violence and hate, while never forgetting to be, as The Guardian points out, “A magnificent entertainment.”
Being There and the Evolution of a Screenplay by Aaron Hunter Pdf
Being There and the Evolution of a Screenplay provides an insightful look at the drafting of one of Hollywood history's greatest scripts. Being There (1979) is generally considered the final film in Hal Ashby's triumphant 1970s career, which included the likes of Harold and Maude (1971) and Shampoo (1975). The film also showcases Peter Sellers's last great performance. In 2005, the Writers Guild of America included Being There on its list of 101 Best Scripts. Being There and the Evolution of a Screenplay features three versions of the script: an early draft by Jerzy Kosinski, based on his 1970 novel; a second by long-time Ashby collaborator and Oscar-winner Robert C. Jones, which makes substantial changes to Kosinki's; and a final draft written by Jones with Ashby's assistance, which makes further structural and narrative changes. Additionally, the book features facsimile pages from one of Kosinski's copy of the scripts that include handwritten notes, providing readers with valuable insight into the redrafting process. For each version, Ashby scholar Aaron Hunter adds perceptive analysis of the script's development, the relationships of the writers who worked on it, and key studio and production details. This is both a presentation of the script of Being There, and a record of the process of crafting that script – a text that will be of interest to film fans and scholars as well as writers and teachers of screenwriting. Evolution of a Screenplay is the first book of its kind to so amply demonstrate the creative development of a Hollywood script.
Frozen 3 Script. The Fire Awakens by Ion Bogdan Purcaru Pdf
It is March 2020. I am working at a sales agent in the roof industry and I have decent income. It’s risky because I have to climb old buildings roofs but I like it. Suddenly due to COVID-19 my county dictates a state an emergency and I have no other choice but to stay with my kids at home. My wife is working in the medical system so it’s her duty to help by going to work. Because she had a greater risk to be infected by the new virus I had to stay alone with my kids to protect my older parents that were helping me before, prior the COVID era… I love my kids, a boy, age five and a girl age two so I’ve made everything possible to take care of them while keeping them entertained. I’ve cooked, sang, played with them in every possible way and from time to time we’ve watched an animation movie. One of those movies watched together was Frozen 2. After we’ve watched the movie, with the kids enjoying it some ideas engulfed my mind. I wrote my ideas into a word document called Frozen 3 script. John Steinbeck said "Ideas are like rabbits. You get a couple and learn how to handle them, and pretty soon you have a dozen." My rabbits multiplied therefore after one month of writing and watching over my kids the script was ready… It wasn’t perfect as it had many spelling and expression problems as I am not a native English writer but the ideas inside and the actual story were in my opinion at least great… You see I wrote before, self-published a book on Amazon and I have an YouTube Channel where I wrote stories and amazingly 33k subscribers enjoyed the way I write despite in English the imperfect style. I know when a story has a lot of potential that’s why I’ve decided to share the story to Disney, the legal owners of Frozen. God knows I’ve tried every possible way to contact them but I’ve always received the same answer “It’s our policy not to accept any unsolicited creative ideas and submissions” and other similar replies. After one and a half month of trying and failing to contact anyone from Disney I am tired so I’ve decided to publish the script because I love it and I don’t want to die buried deep inside my computer’s bits. I don’t have time to correct it thoroughly or adapt it from a script to a literal form because the state of emergency ended fourteen days ago and I’ve returned to my job. I have to work to sustain my family. I want to share this story/script to everyone interested to read it… I want objective and honest answers about the actual story. I won’t mind if you criticize me for not using the best expression to describe the story or because of my misspelling yet the scope of this writing is to deliver an amazing story. I wanted to imprint a Disney Frozen style logical, not violent, funny, interesting, dramatic and musical while maintaining everything we loved in Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven including their personalities in a logical no nonsense story. I also wanted to deliver a reason for Elsa’s powers, why was she born with the ability to create ice. You will tell me if I’ve succeeded or not !
