Many mistakenly believe that Revelation is the most mysterious and hard to understand book of the Bible. On the contrary, a special blessing is promised to anyone who reads or anyone who hears the words of this prophecy. Because many people in John's time could not read or write, a scribe, priest, or someone else who could read would read scriptures out loud for the benefit of others. In A Layman's Guide to the Book of Revelation, author Reverend Fredrick A. Wierschke offers an easy-to-understand interpretation of this book in the Bible. Following the lead of the Holy Spirit, Wierschke analyzes the scriptures verse by verse, presenting in-depth and thorough insight into this often-misunderstood book. The Layman's Guide to the Rapture by Ian Mann Pdf

IN THIS BOOK YOU WILL FIND THE ANSWER TO THESE QUESTIONS. "Will the church have to endure the time of great tribulation?" "Should we make preparations or rely upon God to take care of us? This book does not contain any secret or heretofore unrevealed truths and there are no special revelations given only to the author. I simply look at the plainly spoken and universally acknowledged teachings of Jesus and His disciples and I look at the timeless principles of God shown to us throughout the Old and New Testaments. That's why I've called this book the "Layman's Guide." You don't have to be a Bible scholar to understand anything in this book, and you can follow along in whatever version of the Bible you prefer. FOUR DISTINCT VIEWS ON THE RAPTURE Pre-tribulation says that the church will be removed from the earth before the tribulation - seven years before the return of Christ. Mid-tribulation says the church will be removed halfway through the tribulation 3 1/2 years before the return of Christ. Pre-wrath differentiates itself by redefining the term "great tribulation" but is really about the same as mid-tribulation without specifying the time. Post-tribulation says the rapture of the church takes place after the great tribulation at the coming of Christ to establish His millennial kingdom. Of these four versions the first three are very similar in that they all say the church will be removed from the earth at some point either before or during the great tribulation. Only the post tribulation view says that the church will remain on earth until the end of the great tribulation. So for all intents and purposes what you really have is two views: pre-tribulation (with variations) and post tribulation. That is how I have addressed them in this book."

A Layman's Commentary on Revelation by Don Jones Pdf

A Layman’s Commentary on Revelation traces a journey through the vision John records in the Bible’s last book. Along the way, questions about this world’s end, God’s judgment of all people, and His promises of new life in the kingdom find their answers in Revelation’s visions of drama, worship, and the apocalypse. Author Don E. Jones brings more than five decades of experience in preaching and teaching the Bible to his commentary, presenting a close reading of the biblical text, the insights of noted Bible scholars, and the answers to questions that often arise when individuals encounter the world of Revelation. This guide describes the overarching narrative of Revelation as a seven-act drama. Along the way, treating each passage in turn, the commentary offers Revelation’s answers to challenging questions: • What will happen when the world ends? • Who is the anti-Christ? • When is the Second Coming? • What will God’s judgment look like? To provide addition assistance, four charts and four appendices present supplementary information on the book of Daniel and its vision of the end times. If you wonder how to make sense of Revelation, find yourself puzzled by its strange imagery, or seek answers to the ultimate questions of life, then A Layman’s Commentary on Revelation can guide you through the pages of John’s vision. It takes your searching questions and God’s answers seriously, giving both attention in light of the cosmic drama John shares with Christians of all ages.

Understanding The Book of Revelation: Layman's Words by A. L. Springer Pdf

To whomever may read this book: I started a study of Revelation several years ago. The reason for starting this study was to try and understand the last book of the Bible. So many had told me that Revelation was full of mysteries and difficult to understand. I searched for something that would guide me, make me think about each verse and how each passage applies to my life now and how it could in the future. My great uncle had written a book many years ago that had been passed down through my family to me. I used his book as my guide for my quest. But, as I got into the study I began writing down additional verses, thoughts and life applications. Also, trying to relate to what we know as everyday life today to what must of seemed so foreign to John. All that said this book was put together with much prayer and godly guidance to provide assistance in studying Revelation. I hope it will help someone not only understand Revelation, but prompt thoughts and discussions. Most of all I hope this book might inspire to spread the gospel before it is too late and possibly help someone find their way to Christ.

A Layman's Understanding Of The Book Of Revelation! by Alan Shinkfield Pdf

"The BOOK" Even since the beginning of my Christian life, I have been drawn to the Book Of Revelation. It may be scary and shows God as a vengeful God, but surely He proved that in the old Testament. The problem exists the future is to be perused, believed, and acted upon by all who acknowledge a creation God and His Sacrificial Son Jesus Christ. I found that the plagues to gain God's will, will be used in the Tribulation and have been used before, in Egypt and to bring the wayward Israelites back to the fold. Please accept that you belong in a world where nothing is certain, life or death, so it is your choice to read and believe or suffer the plagues that have been PROMISED in REVELATION. And May God guides your decision. AMEN Many say I found Christ, but sometimes Christ Finds You! He found me sitting in the gutter bemoaning a flat tire on the car. He sent a servant that I knew but was unaware he was a Christian. He invited me to go home shower, dress, and meet him for Church that evening. That was the start of my seventy, odd years in Christian Service. A word or two at the right time and in the right place can add years of service to the Lord Jesus Christ. What have those years enjoyed, preaching- three states, volunteer with faith organizations, founding health and pain organizations advisory to sporting and community groups, all stemming from one person's invitation. GO AND DO LIKEWISE!

Mystery Explained by David H. Campbell Pdf

Mystery Explained - A Simple Guide to Revelation is designed to introduce the Book of Revelation to readers without theological training, but in a way that provides a full and satisfying understanding of its content. It provides an overview of the book and of the major issues surrounding its interpretation, then covers the text in a systematic expository manner. It addresses all the common misunderstandings of the book which have often left Christians confused and non-Christians mocking. Revelation is a pastoral letter designed to help believers of every generation follow Jesus in the way of the cross. It can be understood clearly in the light of the multitude of Old Testament references as a picture of the second great Exodus: Christians leaving spiritual Egypt, being protected in the wilderness of this present life, and awaiting entrance into the Promised Land, the new Jerusalem. Revelation provides the end to the story that Genesis began, culminating in the restoration of the presence of God to his garden-temple. Revelation urges Christians to remain faithful in the face of temptation to compromise. In spite of any adversity and suffering believers may encounter in this life, if they remain true to the faith, they will receive a reward far more real and lasting than any temporary cost they may have paid. This book explains clearly but succinctly how all these themes are worked out, with the goal of answering every substantial question readers may have had concerning the last book of the Bible.
