New Beginning by Eben G. Ayettey Snr. Pdf

New Beginning reveals the encounter that Abram (later Abraham) had with God, noting his (Abram's) call by God from his country and kindred and his eventual settlement in Canaan. This inspirational book, New Beginning, guides readers into taking some few steps, which were taken by Abram as God led him. These paths Abram took as led by God ended him well. Abram was very rich in livestock, silver, and gold (Genesis 13: 2). This book, New Beginning, also notes challenges or difficulties that usually confront all those who accept to have a new beginning with God, and some of the steps that one can take to safeguard one's self from them. This book, New Beginning, will inspire and educate all Christians and those who will surrender to serve Christ Jesus to greater heights in their relationship with God and their commitment to Christ Jesus, bringing them the ultimate blessings God intends for them as they follow God's direction for their lives.

A New Beginning for Humankind by R. B. Herath Pdf

The world is reaching a nuclear tipping point, and a catastrophe looms. Even the United Nations can't seem to do anything about the threat. Given the circumstances, people everywhere need to unite to prevent a disaster. In this new study, peace activist R. B. Herath explains what's at stake and what everyday people can do to solve the problem. Here are some of the questions Herath seeks to answer: - What are the major violent conflicts in the world today? - Is there any guarantee that none of the ongoing violent conflicts will deteriorate into a worldwide fiasco? - If there is no such guarantee, what needs to be done to prevent such an eventuality? - Is there anything more to be done to ensure lasting peace on the planet? By taking steps to prevent tension from building up to a tipping point and by building a stronger system of checks and balances, it's possible to resolve conflicts at all levels through peaceful means. Join Herath as he seeks to change habits that promote war to habits that promote peace in the face of the present troubled state of the world.

A New Beginning in Sight by Eric J Arnott Pdf

Consultant eye surgeon, Eric Arnott, was one of the original pioneers of small-incision surgery. He was the first to perform modern Phaco surgery in Europe and designed lens implants that have restored the sight to millions of patients. The word autobiography is simply insufficient to describe this book, which is a remarkable testament to the life, works and marriage of a remarkable man. The book details the original invention of the lens implant by Harold Ridley, who Eric worked with in his early years of medical training. It goes on to follow the development of small-incision Phaco surgery, instigated by Charlie Kelman, and the disinterest and contempt held by the peers of these ophthalmologic pioneers. The author describes every advance in this field of ophthalmology in fascinating detail. The importance to Eric of religion, spirituality, family life and helping others less fortunate than himself is reinforced in this enthralling and at times very amusing read. Arnott draws you into his narrative, rousing thoughts of disbelief as you are compelled to continue reading, each new chapter and event in his life proving as fascinating as the last. Entertaining and illuminating, A New Beginning in Sight provides a detailed history of ophthalmology and is essential reading for ophthalmologists, other specialists and non-specialists alike.

A New Beginning by Joanne Morreale Pdf

This book is a postmodern analysis of Ronald Reagan’s 1984 film, A New Beginning, which marked the coming-of-age of the televisual political campaign film. The film was a landmark in the art of political filmmaking. Its thesis proclaimed a resurgence of American pride, patriotism, and prosperity under the leadership of Ronald Reagan. A New Beginning was unprecedented for a number of reasons: it replaced the traditional nominating speech for the candidate at the Republican National Convention; its form was a hybrid documentary and advertisement; it illustrated the use of televisual rebirth rhetoric to gain public support for a political ideology; and, most importantly, the masterful project documented a shift from verbal to visual rhetoric in American presidential campaigning. The author examines the film as a cultural text and as an effective political tool. Framing, ideology, myth, and visual cliché are analytic tools used to deconstruct the film; the method combines rhetorical theory with communication theory and semiotically-based theories of film and television. Morreale gives insight into the increasingly prevalent use of television to create a political reality.

GameChanger by Erbil Gunasti,Daphne Barak Pdf

Imagine… The US, as the sole Christian and Western power, down to the third slot from the top, is being squeezed out by China and India, the number one and two economies in the world, and challenged by two upcoming Muslim countries, Indonesia and Turkey, from the other end. All the while, Germany, the UK, and France are struggling to hold on to the bottom of the barrel in the top ten list, being of no help to the US during this onslaught. No, it is not a horror movie. It is about to become reality. And as early as within a decade! Unless Erdoğan and Trump can eliminate soft bellies in the Middle East and Europe, setting the stage for the US to establish balance of power against the rapidly rising East.

Attachment and New Beginnings by Jonathan Pedder Pdf

This collection of written pieces plots the work of an NHS psychotherapist, Jonathan Pedder, turning the science of psychiatry into human encounters. He had a career teaching and inspiring colleagues and students with psychoanalytic ways of thinking, encouraging and supporting them in the challenges of contemporary psychiatry. In his work he made the world of psychoanalysis accessible to non-analysts, and this book augments the textbook on psychotherapy which Pedder wrote with Dennis Brown. Pedder was a quiet visionary influential in offering a pathway for mental health workers from many disciplines to find their way to the psychoanalytic ideas that illuminate their patients/clients.'- Professor R. D. Hinshelwood, Author of Clinical Klein and Dictionary of Kleinian Thought.
