One year, Xan mistakenly feeds the baby moonlight, which fills the child with magic. Xan decides to raise the girl herself in order to keep those around her safe from her magic. She names the child Luna. The story follows Luna as she grows and discovers her magic, while also coming head-to-head with the real evil of the forest.
