Excerpt from The Life of Christ in Poetry and Art: A Poem My only apology for presuming to put my lines before the public is that in another form, that of an illustrated poetical discourse, they have been the means of doing some good and awakening interest in the hero of the story, and I have been repeatedly requested to put them in gift book form.
