My Testimony - Knowing God and Making Him Known by Joel Hitchcock Pdf

Introduction My life has been filled with a multitude of supernatural encounters. I titled my testimony, "Knowing God and Making Him Known," because I feel that my life has revolved around this statement. In the Bible, the word, know means to know God intimately, and to love Him. I could have called my testimony, "Loving God and Making Him Loved." Jesus said, "Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself (Mark 12:29-31.) To know God is to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. To make Him known is to love our neighbor as ourselves. I trust that my testimony will inspire you to also know and love God, and also to make Him known. Joel Hitchcock, December 2021, Georgetown, Delaware, USA Dreams come true I looked upon those massive crowds in multiple countries. Multitudes upon multitudes stood there - eager to hear the Word of God, and to be healed of their infirmities. To minister to them was truly a dream come true. There they stood - thousands upon thousands of souls, coming into the Kingdom of God, and being healed of their diseases. In Uganda, a rebel soldier who had been responsible for many killings, heard me say, "Even if you have killed someone, Jesus can save you!" He gave his life to Jesus, and God saved him. In India, a crippled woman was carried to our crusade. Suddenly she saw a supernatural light flashing towards her, and heard a voice saying, "You are now healed." She stood up and walked. Jesus healed her. In South Africa, a man told us that someone with a baseball cap came into his room, and told him to come to our crusade, and there he would be healed. Who could this strange visitor have been? Could it have been an angel of the Lord? In that same crusade, someone saw Jesus standing beside me as I prayed for the sick, one by one. She said that as I laid my hands upon people, Jesus was laying His hands upon them with me. In another crusade, a woman was brought to the crusade in a wheelbarrow, padded with a cushion. She stood up out of that wheelbarrow, and she was healed. Hundreds attended that crusade, and a local pastor told us his church was packed out with people that received Jesus in that crusade. In Pakistan, a lady was carried onto the platform, because she could not walk. In an instant, Jesus touched here, and she was healed. At first, she had something like a seizure, then she stood up, and walked. All pandemonium broke out in that crusade. The big tent was filled with thousands of souls, and they pushed forward for prayer. I saw two women slap each other physically in their determination to get to the front to receive prayer. Of course, I don't condone the slapping, but I appreciated their determination, and their faith that God would heal them. In Venezuela, a crippled man stood up out of his wheelchair. This was an amazing miracle. In one outreach in a tribal area, very far from civilization as we know it, Jesus showed up and healed the people. It started with the healing of a young man's deaf ear. He could hear perfectly in that ear. From that point onward, it seemed like every person we prayed for in that meeting was healed. I could cite numbers, but I have moved away from doing that, not wanting to neither overstate nor understate the numbers. God knows the real numbers of those who came to Christ, and continue to be swept into the Kingdom of God. I can tell story after story, and I pray that my testimony will bless you and stir you to dare to believe God for the impossible. Let me tell you my story, my testimony...

Knowing God to Make Him Known by Ed Scheuerman Pdf

Christians are all too familiar with the dichotomy between "being a Mary" (sitting at Jesus' feet) and "being a Martha" (being active in ministry). We have been told that before we can do, we first need to be. And this is well and good. But it is insufficient. Before we can be, we first need to know. We need to know who God is (God's attributes) so that we can then be who we are intended to be in Christ. Only then should we seek to do what he has called and equipped us to do for his glory. This book focuses on knowing God, in his many attributes, so that we can become conformed to his image, in order to do what he's called us to do to bring the gospel to the world.

God Is Able by Carole Y. Sanders Pdf

Life is sometimes like a box of chocolates, because you never know what you’re going to get. I wrote this book because I know from experience that God can do anything; and because my intimacy levels have increased with God more and more, it is the most wonderful relationship I have ever experienced. I want others to experience this kind of intimacy because you never know love until you fall in love with God. Knowing God loves you, and that whatever happens in life He’s with you, is vital. It causes levels of intimacy that you can only imagine until it happens. I am overwhelmed with joy and peace amid my trials because I know God is able to do anything.

Knowing God by Zacharias Tanee Fomum Pdf

"Moses said to the Lord, See, thou sayest to me, Bring up this people; but thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know you by name, and you have also found favour in my sight. Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found favour in thy sight, show me now thy ways, that I may know thee and find favour in thy sight. Consider too that this nation is thy people. And he said, My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest. And he said to him, If thy presence will not go with me, do not carry us up from here. For how shall it be known that I have found favour in thy sight, I and thy people? Is it not in thy going with us, so that we are distinct, I and thy people, from all other people that are upon the face of the earth? And the Lord said to Moses, This very thing that you have spoken I will do; for you have found favour in my sight, and I know you by name. Moses said, I pray thee, show me thy glory. And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before you, and will proclaim before you my name, The Lord and I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy" (Exodus 33:12-19). Moses knew God. The Apostle Paul testified, "I myself was convinced that I ought to do many things in opposing the name of Jesus of Nazareth. And I did so in Jerusalem; I not only shut up many of the saints in prison, by authority from the chief priests, but when they were put to death I cast my vote against them. And I punished them often in all the synagogues and tried to make them blaspheme; and in raging fury against them, I persecuted them even to foreign cities. Thus I journeyed to Damascus with the authority and commission of the chief priests. At midday, O king, I saw on the way a light from heaven brighter than the sun, shining round me and those who jouneyed with me. And when we had all fallen to the ground, I heard a voice saying to me in the Hebrew language, Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? It hurts you to kick against the goads. And I said, 'Who are you, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom you are persecuting, But rise and stand upon your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to appoint you to serve and bear witness to the things which you have seen me and to those in which I will appear to you, delivering you from the people and from the Gentiles - to whom I send you to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me" (Acts 26:9-18). Paul started thus with a personal knowledge of the Lord. After many fresh encounters with the Lord, he said, "That I may know him and the power of his resurrection and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, that if possible I may attain the resurrection from the dead" (Philippians 3:10-11). Paul knew the Lord and yearned more and more to know Him. His service for the Lord sprang out of his settled and growing knowledge of the Lord. There are many believers today who worship "the unknown God". There are many who have never sought Him until He was revealed to them. There are many who do not know Him. There are many for whom sin is a wonderful attraction because they have never beheld the all-glorious face of the eternal Father nor heard His sweet voice. Their faith is more or less a theory. God seems absent or at best, withdrawn. Do you know God? When did you personally encounter Him? When was your last encounter with Him? The greatest need of the hour is for saints who know God. This book is about knowing God. We consider that the greatest need of the hour is for believers to know their God and render to Him service that is an outflow of this knowledge and intimacy with Him. It is a book for you!

Preparing the Bride of Christ for His Return by Janet Van Hierden Pdf

I pray that this great book will be placed in the hands of thousands of men and women across the globe. Spiritual authority and hearing the voice of God is so ably articulated, that even the ‘new’ Christian will be armed and equipped to identify and recognize these challenges when they arise. Dr. Graham Power Power Group/Global Day of Prayer Being Janet Van Hierden’s pastor has been a pleasure. She is a godly woman, deeply prayerful, who adores the Bride of Christ, and practices what she preaches. If there were anyone in our congregation whose prayers for the Bride I would appreciate and value, it would be hers. Bishop Todd Atkinson Via Apostolica & River of Life Church Being gripped with the realization that a great harvest of souls is upon us, there is a sense of urgency as the author through personal stories and testimonies gives practical advice in areas such as: Gaining advantage through “proper response in suffering”, and exposing “a deep secret of satan” Aquiring “authority through unity in marriage” What it means for a “woman to surround a man” for his protection This pithy, but easy to read manual helps prepare the Bride for the return of the Bridegroom, while leaving the reader wanting more.

“Sounds are all around us—traffic, sirens, noise. But do you hear the whispers, the sounds only God can create? Do you listen, do you hear? In your heart, God can speak to you. He can strengthen you by giving you grace to make a difference in this busy, noisy world. It is through the Holy Spirit, God’s voice within us, that allows us to be a witness for His Kingdom. Are you ready, what do you hear?” You’re invited to join Kathi Lee Grand as she shares her journey, the one she’s experienced with God since 2000. This includes her “spiritual encounters,” when she first began to hear the Holy Spirit through that “still, small voice.” To date she has received thirteen God-inspired words. Each of these words is introduced in a chapter along with the acronym and referenced Scripture verses. Kathi Lee both encourages and challenges readers to explore their own journey as they too seek to hear God’s voice. May God richly bless you, as you begin your journey with Him as you also experience His voice.

From Knowledge to Revelation by Cynthia Kay Elias Pdf

From Knowledge to Revelation offers a truly transparent memoir of overcoming circumstances not by education or knowledge, but by revelation. Cynthia Elias lost her dreams, her home, her business, and her reputation to gain revelation and a higher calling from God. At its very best, knowledge is merely hindsight, however, no matter how great the knowledge, there is always the unforeseen. Therefore, having pure knowledge does not insure success. Success can only be received by revelation. Had Cynthia known all the pitfalls, she would have done things differently. However, with revelation God took the mistakes and worked these out for her good and placed her in a higher plane of living through Jesus Christ. Her testimony demonstrates the power of God that you can acquire in your own life. Your destiny will be very different, but just as transforming, as you give your will to God and allow yourself to be guided and remain in his blood covenant.

Drawing Near by John MacArthur Pdf

"Like newborn babes, long for the pure milk of the word, that by it you may grow in respect to salvation." 1 Peter 2:2 It's a fact of life: our health declines if we don't nourish our bodies every day with food and water. That's true physically. It's true spiritually as well. If we neglect to regularly feed our souls on the Holy Scriptures, our faith becomes weak and we start to lose touch with our Savior. Growth is stifled... if it happens at all. Drawing Near, used daily in combination with God's Holy Word, can not only help bring you closer to God but also keep you from spiritual stagnation. This book will guide you in a growing relationship with Him. As Pastor MacArthur says in his Introduction: "Our entertainment-conscious, quick-fix, fast-food society does everything it can to divert us from setting aside time to study God's Word. As you well know from your own efforts, Bible study is not often entertaining—it's hard work. It takes discipline to set aside time each day to reap the benefits such study has to offer. If you reach an impasse when it's time to sit down, open your Bible, and try to decide what to do, you're not alone. Without some plan to follow, it's easy to become frustrated and eventually give up after only one or two days. That's where this book comes in." If you desire greater understanding of the precious Word of God, if you want a daily guide to draw you closer to the Lord, this outstanding collections of 365 devotional readings by one of America's most respected and trusted Bible teachers is for you!
