Sin Forgiveness and Righteousness by Dr. Ashwin Drummond Pdf

The Present book delves into the aspects of moving away from God and making a full circle of coming back to Him and enjoying eternal life. In order to understand the gravity of sin, an attempt has been made to form an idea of the eternity, Holiness and Aseity of God. This obviously refers to the self-sufficiency and the non-dependability of the Great God. The Uncreated Creator God, is life and everything that exists is created by Him and is dependent on Him. He is also the epitome of Holiness. Once we understand this great aspect of the Great Uncreated Creator God, can we understand how abhorrent sin is to the Most Holy and how sin comes between God and Human Beings. The great efforts made on the part of God to reconcile man to this abhorrent situation through the forgiveness of sin through the death of His son Jesus Christ has been explained in layman’s language. Finally, how we are made right with God with the imputed righteousness of Jesus has been touched upon for a finer understanding of the matter. Once reconciled with God we have the golden opportunity to become once again immortal and spend the rest of our life with our lord in eternity.

Concerning Sin, Righteousness, and Judgment by Dr. Jaerock Lee Pdf

Today, there are many people who go on with their lives not even knowing what sin is, what righteousness is, and what judgment is all about. Even those who go to church don’t have assurance of salvation, and they live secular lives—just like everyone else in the world. Furthermore, they do not lead Christian lives that are righteous according to God, but righteous according to what they think is righteous. So Concerning Sin, Righteousness, and Judgment is the first book of the Holiness and Power sermon series which deals with how we can lead a successful Christian life by receiving forgiveness for our sins and by accomplishing the righteousness of God in our lives.

Righteousness, Holiness, and Victory Over Sin by Karl Kemp Pdf

This e-book, which deals to a large extent with the interpretation of passages of the Bible (especially the New Testament) that deal with the super-important topic of righteousness, holiness, and victory over sin is packed with good news, very good news! The New Testament clearly, and consistently, teaches that God calls, and enables, us to walk with the victory over sin, by grace through faith. No true Christian wants to sin! God hates sin, and He paid an infinite price in the Sacrifice of His Son to set us free from spiritual death and bondage to sin. We will never walk in the righteousness and holiness of God with the victory over sin BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH until we are convinced in our hearts that God has called us to such a walk and provides the grace for us to do what He has called us to do. The New Testament makes it quite clear that the victory over sin is far from being automatic, or always easy. We have powerful enemies against us: the world, the flesh (the old man who wants to continue to sin), and the devil and his hosts, but the saving grace of God in Christ is far more powerful for those who appropriate His grace by faith (a faith that is based on God and His Word). The saving grace of God in Christ includes all the work of the Holy Spirit, the infinite Spirit of God, who dwells in all true Christians. We must make living in the righteousness and holiness with the victory over sin a top priority. WE MUST AIM AT THAT TARGET! WE CERTAINLY WON'T HIT THE TARGET IF WE ARE NOT AIMING AT IT! We don't want to repeat the error of the people of Israel at Kadesh (Numbers chapters 13, 14), where they believed in their hearts (and spoke and acted accordingly) that they could not do what God had called them to do. Of course God did not expect them to defeat the Canaanites by their strength; He did, however, expect them to trust Him and walk by faith. God knows our hearts! Also, it is good to know that He has promised to forgive us IF we should sin, when we repent. This printed copy of the e-book (and the e-book) was taken, with some modifications, from the written texts behind my twenty-eight half-hour radio broadcasts that deal with this topic. This book borrows extensively from, and serves as a good introduction for, my paperback book, "Holiness and Victory Over Sin," which is available on amazon.com. I highly recommend reading this book (or the e-book) first. Like I said, it serves as a good introduction for the paperback book, and it is easier to read. If you like this book, you will also like the paperback book. The paperback book contains a large amount of information that is not included in this book, and this book contains some information that is not included in the paperback book.

Three Free Sins by Steve Brown Pdf

From a popular pastor and radio host—Three Free Sins teaches that the only people who make any progress toward being better are those who know that God will still love them, regardless of how good they are. This book is about the misguided obsession with the management of sin that cripples too many Christians. It’s about the view that religion is all about sin…about how to hide side sin or how to stop sinning all together. In the Introduction, the author toys good-naturedly with an agitated caller on his radio program, teasing him in a segment where he offers three free sins. The offer is real. Not that Steve has the power to forgive sins, but he wants to make the point that Jesus has made the offer to cover all of our sins – not just three. Chapter one, titled “Teaching Frogs to Fly,” is even better. The gist of this chapter is that you can’t teach frogs to fly, just like you can’t teach people not to sin. Steve tells a story about a guy who has a frog, and he’s convinced he can teach the frog how to fly. The man keeps throwing the frog up in the air or up against walls – all to the poor frog’s demise. The message is that even though people can be better, they can never not sin—just like a frog can never learn to fly, no matter how much pressure is put on it. Steve continues through the book to show readers that while they can never manage sin, they can relax in knowing that they are completely forgiven—not just of three, but of all.

The Great Exchange (Foreword by Sinclair Ferguson) by Jerry Bridges,Bob Bevington Pdf

Believers often take for granted the great act of salvation provided to us by the work of Jesus Christ. Beginning with the Old Testament sacrifices and the prophecies that foreshadowed Christ, authors Jerry Bridges and Bob Bevington guide believers through the biblical overview of Christ's atonement. The Great Exchange helps believers see how the Old Testament practices tie in with the New Testament discussion of Christ's great work of salvation. As believers work through these principles, they will begin to recognize that even though we deserve condemnation and punishment from a holy God, he has given us the opportunity to experience his great riches through his Son, Jesus Christ. The clear gospel message presented throughout the entire book offers a great appreciation of Christ for believers and an opportunity for salvation for unbelievers.

Praying for Forgiveness from A–Z by Fay Gunter Pdf

Sin. It's such a common word, especially in the Christian culture. Even though it's a little word in the dictionary, it's a very big word in our lives and how God views us as a people. Each and every person who has ever lived on earth, except for Jesus Christ, has sinned. We are all born into sin. Although our human nature doesn't like to consider ourselves as sinners and we often struggle with calling ourselves sinners, it's a fact of life that we can't ignore. What do we do about sin? Do we try to deny or hide from the fact that we sin? Do we admit to ourselves that we sin? Do we look on our sins as not so bad compared to other people's? Do we feel guilty about our sin or only regret the sin when we've been caught? Do we enjoy the sin and not want to give it up? Do we think of sin as really bad or just what everyone does, and it's a part of life? Merriam-Webster's Dictionary calls sin "reprehensible." If a dictionary gives the meaning of sin as something so horrible sounding, what in the world does our God who is Holy, think about sin? Has our prayer life become stagnant because of our sin? Can we actually separate ourselves from a loving Father because of our sin? Even when Christ lives in us and His blood has washed away our sin, we still sin and will until the day we pass from this earth. How do we draw closer to God when we know that we have sinned and haven't repented?
