Supermoms Activated by Jacqueline Toboroff Pdf

Moms—the largest voting bloc—have had enough. Democrats have sold them a bill of lies. They’ve had their parental rights stripped, gender mocked, bodily autonomy rejected, safety imperiled, voices silenced, and children turned against them by the educational system they fund. Moms are only loyal to one party: their kids. Supermoms Activated charts the journey of twelve mothers from across the nation from varying socioeconomic, religious, racial, and political party affiliations. From flipping school boards, bringing cases before the Supreme Court, running for office, lobbying, crafting policy, starting new schools, and changing how politicians campaign, the mom army is coming to save this nation. The mom crusade has come to protect children from the mainstreaming of “gender dysmorphia,” “privilege blocks,” and “furries.” Their movement has been so impactful that the big guns, hoping to silence and disavow them, have been summoned: mainstream and social media, teachers unions, educators, campaign consultants, Hollywood, and even the president of the United States, Joe Biden. These groups have waged war against concerned moms, labeling them “domestic terrorists.” Supermoms Activated takes readers on a deep-dive into why moms woke up and risked everything. Through personal journeys, this book shows different approaches taken to fight back against Marxism on all fronts. There are wins and losses, but more than that, there’s a game plan moving forward. Personal agency is most important when it comes to stopping wokeism from taking over and one person can start a prairie fire. Join these moms in the American revival.

Men's Changing Roles in the Family by Robert A Lewis,Marvin B Sussman Pdf

How are men reacting to, perceiving, and behaving in light of the changes in gender roles. Here is an important volume that provides new and interesting reading about contemporary husbands and fathers. Men’s Changing Roles in the Family, offers an overview of the causes and consequences of changes in men’s family roles in recent decades. Experts introduce you to the issues, problems, and methods on the cutting edge of those disciplines that study men in the context of their families. Until now relatively little has been known empirically about men in contemporary families, and even less has been known about husbands and fathers from direct reports of the men themselves. This groundbreaking volume successfully closes this gap in the literature with an examination of the effects that fathers’growing involvement with their children have on their wives and themselves; a clinical assessment of some men’s angry reactions to separation and divorce and those special therapeutic goals and strategies that may help reduce their distress; examinations of the conflicting demands of the work world and the family upon some contemporary husbands and fathers and the negative effects of nonstandard work schedules upon men’s family life; and an examination of factors that make many men unhappy in patriarchal family structures. Men’s Changing Roles in the Family also contributes toward breaking new ground by examining family roles now performed by special groups of men. Finally, this important volume reports empirical findings about men in family-like relationships, illustrating evidence for the unique roles that male caregivers can offer children in day-care centers and reviewing current empirical studies of men’s friendships and their development.

Ethics Expertise by Lisa Rasmussen Pdf

Section I examines historical philosophical understandings of expertise in order to situate the current institution of bioethics. Section II focuses on philosophical analyses of the concept of expertise, asking, among other things, how it should be understood, how it can be acquired, and what such expertise warrants. Finally, section III addresses topics in bioethics and how ethics expertise should or should not be brought to bear in these areas, including expertise in the court room, in the hospital room, in the media, and in making policy. 2. A GUIDED HISTORICAL TOUR As Scott LaBarge points out, Plato’s dialogues can be viewed as an extended treatment of the concept of moral expertise, so it is fitting to begin the volume with an examination of “Socrates and Moral Expertise”. Given Socrates’ protestations (the Oracle at Delphi notwithstanding) that he knows nothing, LaBarge observes that it would be interesting to determine both what a Socratic theory of moral expertise might be and whether Socrates qualified as such an expert. Plato’s model of moral expertise is what LaBarge calls “demonstrable expertise”, which is concerned mainly with the ability to attain a goal and to explain how one did it. The problem with this account is that when one tries to solve the various problems in the model – for example, allowing that moral expertise is not an all-or-nothing skill – then one is immediately faced with the “credentials problem”. As LaBarge puts it, “. . .

Neurorhetorics by Jordynn Jack Pdf

In academia, as well as in popular culture, the prefix "neuro-" now occurs with startling frequency. Scholars now publish research in the fields of neuroeconomics, neurophilosophy, neuromarketing, neuropolitics, and neuroeducation. Consumers are targeted with enhanced products and services, such as brain-based training exercises, and babies are kept on a strict regimen of brain music, brain videos, and brain games. The chapters in this book investigate the rhetorical appeal, effects, and implications of this prefix, neuro-, and carefully consider the potential collaborative work between rhetoricians and neuroscientists. Drawing on the increasingly interdisciplinary nature of rhetorical study, Neurorhetorics questions how discourses about the brain construct neurological differences, such as mental illness or intelligence measures. Working at the nexus of rhetoric and neuroscience, the authors explore how to operationalize rhetorical inquiry into neuroscience in meaningful ways. They account for the production, dissemination, and appeal of neuroscience research findings, revealing what rhetorics about the brain mean for contemporary public discourse. This book was originally published as a special issue of Rhetoric Society Quarterly.

Sid-izens United by Sid Rosenberg Pdf

The legendary radio personality and equal-opportunity offender delivers authentic and unapologetic takes on the state of everything—from politics to sports, and pop culture to fitness—all with his inimitable style and humor. “Sid Rosenberg writes the way he talks: fast and blunt. His book is entertaining and provides the reader insight into a guy who hit the bottom but pulled himself up to great success. You’ll get your money’s worth and more.” —Bill O’Reilly, Media Guy Phonies and frauds, beware. Whether you’re an athlete, entertainer, or politician—Sid Rosenberg leaves nobody unscathed. Sid helps navigate the tough topics of today, clearly laying out his thoughts and opinions in the one-of-a-kind style and charm that has made him one of the top radio and TV talents in the country. He also provides a “call-to-action” to the reader with his Sid-izen Solutions at the end of each hot-topic chapter. “Every person is born with a filter between their brain and their mouth. Sid Rosenberg was born without one. Anything he thinks of he says. Love him or hate him…he’s the real deal.” —Chazz Palminteri A must-read for the politically incorrect, Sid-izens United: Salacious Spiels, Stories, Suggestions, and Solutions to Withstand a Woke World captures Sid at his best—showing once again why his radio show reaches millions of devoted Sid-izens each week. “Sid Rosenberg is New York personified—caustic, unfiltered, hilarious, and with a huge heart. The bad boy of radio dispenses ripping tales about fame, sport, and politics in his new book. But the sweet bonus is the wisdom he learned from the school of hard knocks on how to succeed at marriage and fatherhood.” —Miranda Devine “I’ve known Sid since he was a customer service agent for a company nobody ever heard of. The fact that I would care what he has to say about world politics or society as a whole is as shocking to me as it is to you, but here I am laughing and crying while hearing his unmistakably unique voice in my ears as I turn the pages of this book. Sid’s a talented creator, an unapologetic and gifted performer in a sea of copycats and unoriginal thoughts. He simply stands out. We share some of the same demons and I’m beyond proud to see him overcome them and succeed as he has and become the father and man that his dad would be so proud of. I have no idea what a Sid-izen is, and I’m terrified now that I might be one.” —Craig Carton
