Galactic & Ecliptic Ephemerides 1950-2050 by Morten Alexander Joramo Pdf

Column Chart's Companion Volume 1: Galactic & Ecliptic Ephemerides 1950 - 2050 AD. Not so long ago I finally took the time to make a table which had been brewing in me for years. Originally the thought had been to write down the time of the different transits around the edges of circular birth charts. Both Galactic and Ecliptic ones. But that would be more tricky both to read and write than Column Charts, which is what the idea turned into. Parallel Galactic and Ecliptic Columns of chart positions, symmetrically flanked by Galactic and Ecliptic transit times, so that both can be viewed at the same time. After that my only regrets were that I hadnOt done this years ago, and that the Galactic Ephemerides I had already made were not Galactic & Ecliptic ones. Then again, as we learn from astrology, everything has its time. And as Galactic Saturn is presently passing the Galactic Center, it seems the time has come for this Galactic Geocentric Astrology to be presented in a new fashion, namely as both Galactic & Ecliptic. The two systems together have turned out to yield far more insight than twice that of any of them on their own, because of the way they actually work together. Something which also created the need for Galactic & Ecliptic Ephemerides where both kinds of positions can be accessed in one place. So, to be specific, this is Galactic & Ecliptic Geocentric Tropical Western Astrology, or ordinary astrology reintegrated with its long lost Galactic dimension. The latter done perfectly in line with ancient time-honored astrological principles. For an old seasoned professional astrologer like me, I must say I have never encountered any new technique or method which has blown me so completely away as this dynamite Galactic & Ecliptic combination. And I am very proud to present this new Galactic & Ecliptic Ephemerides 1950 - 2050 AD. It contains positions for Sun, Moon, (+ Moon at Noon), Mercury, Venus, and Mars Every Day at Midnight GMT, as well as positions for Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and the Lunar North Node for the First of Every Month at Midnight GMT, all as Absolute Degrees (0 - 360) with Decimals. This to make it a perfect Column Charts' Companion, with an Introduction of MAJoramoOs Column Charts in the first part of the book. But it can of course also be used separately as either a Galactic, or an ordinary Western astrological Ephemeris, if that should be desired. Anyone who can read ordinary Western Astrology can also read these Column Charts. If you do, you may well be in for the beginning of a quantum leap in your understanding of yourself and your clients, as you explore this new Galactic-Ecliptic perspective on your charts. This book should be required reading for skeptics to learn about the depth and breadth of astrology."from Arlan Wise for OPA's The Career Astrologer, "a terrific reference book... the Cliff notes for astrology books. It's the gift to give your astrologer friends when you want to please them and to buy for yourself."The Ultimate Book of Astrology Books (TUBAB) is a unique source of astrological information, presented in the form of book reviews of the major astrology titles published in the last three decades. And if you just want to be entertained by astrology, Part Eight's book reviews include many fascinating works of fiction. A few of these are in the process of being made into feature films, while others harken back to film noir, with the hero being an ace detective skilled at solving whodunnits using astrology. The non-fiction books reviewed in this section give readers an engaging new perspective on academic fields, including history, science, literature, and the arts. Whatever passions you have in the mainstream world, a knowledge of astrology can tremendously enhance your interest, sharpen your focus, and offer new opportunities for growth. TUBAB shows you where to look among the best astrology books available. It's a must-have resource for astrology lovers of all levels.

The Duke and the Stars by Monica Azzolini Pdf

This study is the first to examine the important political role played by astrology in Italian court culture. Reconstructing the powerful dynamics existing between astrologers and their prospective or existing patrons, The Duke and the Stars illustrates how the “predictive art” of astrology was a critical source of information for Italian Renaissance rulers, particularly in times of crisis. Astrological “intelligence” was often treated as sensitive, and astrologers and astrologer-physicians were often trusted with intimate secrets and delicate tasks that required profound knowledge not only of astrology but also of the political and personal situation of their clients. Two types of astrological predictions, medical and political, were taken into the most serious consideration. Focusing on Milan, Monica Azzolini describes the various ways in which the Sforza dukes (and Italian rulers more broadly) used astrology as a political and dynastic tool, guiding them as they contracted alliances, made political decisions, waged war, planned weddings, and navigated health crises. The Duke and the Stars explores science and medicine as studied and practiced in fifteenth-century Italy, including how astrology was taught in relation to astronomy.

How to Practice Mayan Astrology by Bruce Scofield,Barry C. Orr Pdf

A contemporary and practical guide to Mayan astrological techniques • Discusses the logic and meaning of the 20 day-signs of the Mayan calendar • Explains the many cycles of Mayan astrology, such as the 9-day cycle of the Night Lords and the 13-day trecena • Contains extensive tables of Mayan astrological data, allowing readers to cast their own Mayan horoscopes How to Practice Mayan Astrology presents a contemporary guide to one of the most sophisticated astrological systems ever developed. Like other ancient peoples, the Maya looked to the cycles of the planets as markers of time and designators of order. The predictable cycles they observed became codified in the Mayan calendar and astrological system as a way of organizing the seeming chaos of human life. Mayan astrology is based on 20 named days that are cycled 13 times to create a 260-day calendar, the Tzolkin. The authors explain the symbolism, logic, and meaning of the 20 day-signs; how these signs reflect 260 possible personality types; and how they can be used for divination. They also explain the important role of the Four Directions and the planet Venus in one’s personality matrix and life issues. Included are extensive, easy-to-use tables of Mayan astrological data, allowing readers to determine their day-signs, to see how these signs are also influenced by the cycle of the Night Lords and the 13-day trecena, and to cast their own horoscopes.
