"The Diary of Jesus Christ is a bold attempt to understand the person whom in excess of two billion people claim as their savior. These entries are not a gospel; they are something far more personal-not a third-, but a first-person account of the life of Jesus Christ"--
The Jesus diary is the most comprehensive chronology of the events in the life of Jesus Christ, the Son of God ever written. Jesus, the Son of God visited this earth at a point in history. The Gospels in the Bible give four accounts of the one story of Jesus' birth, baptism in the Holy Spirit, his ministry, death and resurrection. The Jesus diary records all of those events in the correct order then places each one on a specific date in history. The result is the most detailed time-frame of the events in Jesus' life ever compiled.
Mary was just one of the carefree young girls who went to the well at dawn to get water. I enjoyed watching her because she seemed unusually sweet and innocent- and sincere. No one knew what to think when she fled so suddenly to Elisabeth's place in Ain Karim. Rumor had it she had seen an angel, but I didn't put too much stock in that. After all, she was young and impressionable. But when she came back obviously pregnant, how the tongues did wag! I watched her from a distance, all through the years. I heard about the remarkable flight to Egypt with her husband, Joseph, and was glad they chose to return to Nazareth after all was said and done. They had a cute boy; they named him Jesus. A person couldn't help loving him. I could tell she was really wrapped up in her children, especially that boy. I had to scratch my head a few times, though, when he started doing miracles-pretty uncanny, that. But his preaching, well, that sure had a way of touching the heart. That same heart nearly broke when I saw her grief when her boy was crucified. You'll read about it through Mary's eyes, through her words and her tears, in this, her diary.

The Unedited Diaries of Carolina Maria de Jesus by Carolina Maria de Jesus,Robert M. Levine,José Carlos Sebe Bom Meihy Pdf
Carolina Maria de Jesus' book, Quarto de Despejo (The Trash Room), depicted the harsh life of the slums, but it also spoke of the author's pride in her blackness, her high moral standards, and her patriotism. More than a million copies of her diary are believed to have been sold worldwide. Yet many Brazilians refused to believe that someone like de Jesus could have written such a diary, with its complicated words (some of them misused) and often lyrical phrasing as she discussed world events. Doubters prefer to believe the book was either written by Audáulio Dantas, the enterprising newspaper reporter who discovered her, or that Dantas rewrote it so substantially that her book is a fraud. With the cooperation of de Jesus' daughter, recent research shows that although Dantas deleted considerable portions of the diary (as well as a second one), every word was de Jesus'. But Dantas did "create" a different Carolina from the woman who coped with her harsh life by putting things down on paper. This book sets the record straight by providing detailed translations of de Jesus' unedited diaries and explains why Brazilian elites were motivated to obscure her true personality and present her as something she was not. It is not only about the writer but about Brazil as recorded by her sarcastic pen. The diary entries in this book span from 1958 to 1966, five years beyond text previously known to exist. They show de Jesus as she was, preserving her Joycean stream-of-consciousness language and her pithy characterizations.
This translation of part of the diary of a 17th century Peruvian mystic includes the convent life of slaves and former slaves and baroque Catholic spiritual experiences from the perspective of a woman of color.

After finishing her PhD, Joanna joins two Australian men who claim to discover new sites that could be Jesus home in Nazareth and his tomb in Jerusalem. As they travel through Israel, Joanna challenges conventional ideas about the life of Jesus. Relying on Gnostic Gospels, Joanna deconstructs the dogmatic images of suffering Christ and creates an alternative picture of Yeshua (Jesus) as a young, rebellious, inspiring teacher. Recent Reviews: This engaging book has everything the passionate-thinking person desires: intensity, intrigue, controversy. Thoroughly enjoyable and thought-provoking. A book for all seekers. Mark Manolopoulos, adjunct research associate, Monash University Centre for Studies in Religion and Theology, and author of If Creation Is a Gift. In Jerusalem Diary, Joanna affectionately traces the life of the human side of Jesus. She beautifully weaves her own spiritual quest for truth in this well-researched, deeply passionate journey, accounting for typical historical gaps in the life and teachings of the Great Soul. The outcome is a refreshing and unusual tale in which Joanna elegantly contrasts and reconciles the Christ on the Cross of the Church with Yeshua, the revered realised Master of the East. A must-read for every sincere seeker of the Self. Karthyeni Purushothaman, lecturer in business management, Monash University
