Esposito and Mogahed's book was based on a Gallop World Poll which makes an attempt to give the opinions of the Muslim World's silent majority. This book, Who Speaks for the Muslims in America, attempts to give some of the recent history of the Muslims that is not normally conveyed in the highly publicized books written by Muslims or at Islamic conferences.
Even those who dispute the Quran do not question that it is in its original form. This enables one to travel back in time to take a closer look at the Prophet Muhammad, who is amongst the most towering personalities in history.
