The Flat-Coated Retriever: A Complete and Comprehensive Owners Guide To: Buying, Owning, Health, Grooming, Training, Obedience, Understanding and by Michael Stonewood Pdf

Flat-Coated Retriever is a breed of gun-dog that originates from, and was developed in, the United Kingdom. The breed was developed in the mid-19th century to be a retriever that is capable of retrieving prey both on land and in the water. The Flat-Coated Retriever is believed to be a descendant of the now extinct St. John's Water Dog which originated from North America. However it is also believed that the Flat-Coated Retriever is also related to the Canadian Newfoundland (a Collie-type dog) and the Setter. The Newfoundland blood was used to give the Flat-Coated Retriever an increased level of trainability whereas the Setter blood was used to give the Flat-Coated Retriever an enhanced ability to scent prey. The Flat-Coated Retriever has a strong muscular jaw and a relatively long muzzle which makes it extremely capable of carrying birds and upland game. The Flat-Coated Retriever has a unique head which is described as being 'of one piece, ' which means that its back-skull is a similar length to its muzzle. The Flat-Coated Retriever has dark brown, almond shaped eyes which give the breed an intelligent and friendly expression. The breed has relatively small ears that hang close the dog's head in a pendant shape. The Flat-Coated Retriever has a light body build than most other Retrievers which aids in the breed's ability to be lighter on its feet, racier and have a more elegant appearance. The Flat-Coated Retriever's coat comes in a solid black or a solid liver (brownish-red) coloration. The breed's coat is straight, moderately long and dense which allows the Flat-Coated Retriever to be protected from all types of weather conditions, water and ground cover. The breed has a lot of feather across its ears, chest, front, backs of its forelegs, underside and tail which aids in the coat's protective function. Due to the fact that it is a Retriever, the Flat-Coated Retriever is a highly intelligent and energetic breed. It is therefore important to make sure that you properly exercise your Flat-Coated Retriever (both physically and mentally) as it is likely to develop destructive behaviors due to boredom or having an abundance of energy. However the Flat-Coated Retriever is also a highly trainable and eager to please breed that excels in obedience related activities. Due to the fact that the Flat-Coated Retriever is incredibly loyal, friendly and trainable, it makes a perfect household pet as it is very easy to socialize with children, strangers and other household pets. Before purchasing any pet it is important to understand that as a pet owner you are responsible for the care and wellbeing of your pet. It is important to try and learn as much as you can about the animal you are considering to keep as a pet to make sure that your lifestyle, household and financial status are suited to provide your pet with the best possible care. This guide will give an in-depth explanation on training your Flat-Coated Retriever, raising your Flat-Coated Retriever from a puppy, grooming, health care and everything in between! The Curly-Coated Retriever, commonly referred to as simply a 'Curly, ' is a breed of dog that originates from England and was originally developed to hunt upland birds and waterfowl. The Curly-Coated Retriever is the tallest of the retriever typing and is very easily distinguished due to its very unique mass of tight curls that covers the dog's body. Despite the large amount of curled hair, the Curly-Coated Retriever is actually a single coated breed and the small tight curls of a show-standard dog are actually very easy to maintain. Due to the fact that they a single coated breed, the Curly-Coated Retriever does not shed as much as most breeds. The Curly-Coated Retriever's curly coat actually repels water which allowed it to easily hunt waterfowl throughout the coldest seasons of the year. As previously mentioned the breed was developed to hunt birds but in recent years is more commonly found as a household pet or as a show dog. The only accepted coat colorations for a show standard Curly-Coated Retriever are solid black and solid liver. The Goldador: A Complete and Comprehensive Owners Guide To: Buying, Owning, Health, Grooming, Training, Obedience, Understanding and by Michael Stonewood Pdf

The Goldador is a relatively new breed of dog that has been developed within the last two decades. The Goldador is a mix of both the Labrador Retriever and the Golden Retriever. The aim of the breed's development was to create a sensitive, tolerant, intelligent and highly trainable working dog - the efforts proved to be highly successful! The Goldador is now considered one of the top choices for organizations that train guide and assistance dogs. Despite the Goldador's popularity as an assistance dog, the Goldador is not a popular household pet breed. As of January 2017, there are no breed clubs or breeding standards for the Goldador. The Goldador is a highly alert breed which also means that it makes an excellent watchdog, but the Goldador is also a highly inquisitive and friendly breed which means that it is not a very effective guard dog. The temperament of dogs is normally affected by the following factors: individual personality, heredity, training and socialization. It is therefore important to make sure that you meet the puppy's mother before purchasing a Goldador. It is also important to make sure to thoroughly socialize your Goldador with strangers, children and other animals during its puppyhood. Generally speaking, the Goldador has a desire to please its owner which makes it an incredibly easy breed to train. Despite its unpopularity as a household pet, the Goldador is known to get along well within a household enviroment due to the fact that it gets along well with strangers, children and other animals (providing that it has been socialized properly during its puppyhood). The Goldador has a double coat in a similar fashion to a Labrador Retriever. The breed's top coat is short, thick and straight while its undercoat is soft and dense. Generally the Goldador's coat will range from yellow to gold in coloration. However due to the lack of a breeding standard, the Goldador is also known to occasionally have a reddish brown coat. It is important to note that as a cross between two working breeds, the Goldador has a high amount of energy which needs to be expended. If the Goldador has a buildup of energy it is likely to develop destructive behaviors due to boredom or hyperactivity. The Goldendoodle is a cross-breed of dog that was obtained by breeding a Poodle with a Golden Retriever. The Goldendoodle began being developed during the 1990s in both North America and Australia. The Keeshond by Michael Stonewood Pdf

The Keeshond is a medium sized breed of dog that originates from Germany. The breed is commonly also known as the 'Dutch Barge Dog' and the 'Smiling Dutchman.' The breed is known for its unique plush two-layered coat, curled tail and its silver and black fur with a ruff around its neck. The breed is closely related to other breeds within the Spitz typing such as the Mittelsplitz, Kleinspitz and Pomeranian. The breed was originally called the 'German Spitz,' but the breed's name was changed in 1926 to the Keeshond. The first breed standard for the Keeshond was posted at a dog show in Berlin in 1880. The breed is sturdily built with a wedge-shaped head, a medium-sized muzzle, a tightly curled tail and a pair of small pointed ears. The Keeshond's ruff is a good way to guess the dog's gender: males tend to have a much thicker and more pronounced ruff than females. The temperament of dogs is normally affected by the following factors: individual personality, heredity, training and socialization. It is therefore important to make sure that you meet the puppy's mother before purchasing a Keeshond. It is also important to make sure to thoroughly socialize your Keeshond with strangers, children and other animals during its puppyhood. Generally speaking, the Keeshond is known to be an extremely playful breed with a love of physical exercise and athletics. The breed as a whole seems very eager to please humans, which actually leads to the Keeshond being a highly trainable breed. Their intelligence and trainability has led to the Keeshond being used as a guide dog. The Keeshond makes an excellent family dog as they love human contact and get along very well with children and other household pets. The breed is also known to be incredibly empathetic as was actually the first choice for 'comfort dogs' to help the rescue works after the tragedy of 9/11. It is important to note that as a working and sporting breed, the Keeshond has a high amount of energy which needs to be expended. If the Keeshond has a buildup of energy it is likely to develop destructive behaviors due to boredom or hyperactivity. This guide has been designed to provide you with both precise and concise information about a Keeshond's basic needs to help you provide your pet with the best quality care practices. This guide will give an in-depth explanation on training your Keeshond, raising your Keeshond from a puppy, grooming, health care and everything in between! "The Keeshond: A Complete and Comprehensive Owners Guide to: Buying, Owning, Health, Grooming, Training, Obedience, Understanding and Caring for Your Keeshond," by Michael Stonewood is the perfect purchase or gift for a first time Keeshond owner. This guide includes sections on caring for a puppy, breeding, health care, training, the basic cost of owning a Keeshond and much more. This book is the second edition - the first edition was published by 'Dog Care Professionals.'
