I have come to realize that there is more to our Creator than any of us can comprehend. He is wider than the widest ocean, taller than the tallest mountain, deeper than the deepest sea. He is bigger than the earth. The earth is His footstool (Isaiah 66:1). Our Creator loves variety. That is why there are so many shades and types of people, flowers, stars, animals, birds, experiences, colors, days, numbers, fish, creatures of the sea, planets, and so on and on. Yes, our Creator loves variety, which is why He creates the world as a flower garden of people, each one different, each one with a unique purpose to serve in the garden. Each flower has a special purpose in a little garden to provide beauty, fullness, order, scent, and so on. My encounter with our Creator inspires amazement and awe. ...the changing seasons...the beauty of a sunny day, snowy, rainy, and cloudy day...the fact the sun never sets though we see night. On a return flight from Kenya in 2007, I was seated where I could see through the windows on either side of the plane. I marveled at how outside one window I could see night falling while outside the other window the sun was shining brightly. How awesome to be in a position to see the sun setting on one side of the globe and rising on the other. What an amazing experience!

It studies, examines, and discusses: the revelation of the Qur’an in the seven ahruf concluding that they represent seven linguistical ways of recitation; the compilation of the Quran during the lifetime of the Prophet and the preservation of the Quran in the memories of the Companions as well as in written form, the compilation during the time of Abu Bakr, and the further compilation during the time of Uthman; the problem of naskh to demonstrate the completeness and trustworthiness of the Quran and that no verses are missing or were read and abrogated by naskh al-tilawah either with or without hukm; the Uthmanic masahif and their relation to the seven ahruf; the language of the Quran and whether it includes one, several, or all the dialects of the Arabs; the origin of the qiraat and conditions governing accepted readings; and ikhtiyar (i.e., the selection of one reading rather than another) and the rules governing the Qurra’ who selected a reading.
Sepher Rezial Hemelach is the longawaited first English translation of this famous magical text a translation from the ancient Hebrew in the rare and complete 1701 Amsterdam edition. According to Hebrew legend, the Sepher Rezial was presented to Adam in the Garden of Eden, given by the hand of God, and delivered by the angel Rezial. The myth thus suggests that this is the first book ever written, and of direct divine provenance. A diverse compendium of ancient Hebrew magical lore, this book was quite possibly the original source for later, traditional literature on angelic hierarchy, astrology, Qabalah, and Gematria. Moses Gaster mentions this in his introduction to The Sword of Moses (1896) suggesting that the Sepher Rezial could be a primary source for many magic and qabalistic books of the Middle Ages. Sepher Rezial Hemelach is a compilation of five books: "The Book of the Vestment," "The Book of the Great Rezial," "The Holy Names," "The Book of the Mysteries," and "The Book of the Signs of the Zodiac." It includes extensive explanatory text on the holy names of God, the divisions of Heaven and Hell, the names and hierarchy of the angels and spirits, as well as symbolic interpretations of both the Book of Genesis and Sepher Yetzirah. It also includes material on astronomy, astrology, gematria, and various magical talismans, most notably those used for protection during childbirth. In his introduction, Steve Savedow details the history, bibliographical citations, and lineage of this famous work. He lists the old and rare manuscripts still in existence, and provides a bibliography of other reference works for study of the Western esoteric tradition.
